Those of my pastel works still in my collection are available for purchase.
Formats range from postcard size up to 100 × 70 cm, and since my most recent exhibition also in the large format of 240 × 160 cm.
Especially in these times of „social distancing," I have noticed that the demand for art cards is growing. The handwritten word has regained its value. In our fast-paced age, such a moment of pause carries special meaning. Letters and cards are being written by hand once again.
For many years I have offered art cards and folded cards, some with verses, others blank. Over time this has grown into a collection that is continually changing and expanding.
Since 2005 I have been publishing an annual calendar featuring my pictures and texts in various formats.
The idea for my first calendar came from Dr. Ludwig Brandl - current director of the KEB Diocesan Education Centre in Eichstätt.
From 30 September to 18 November 2005 my pictures were on show in an exhibition at the Ingolstadt Minster. Dr. Ludwig Brandl, then the referent and spokesperson of the city deanery, brought the exhibition to Ingolstadt. As part of my exhibition „Im Anderen - Spuren einer Begegnung" I was able, in a weekly series of events, to inspire various artists and poets to come to the Ingolstadt Minster and give an evening of their own.
Dr. Ludwig Brandl initiated the making of my first calendar, which was financed through the Ingolstadt deanery. Since then I have designed a calendar every year and financed it myself through sales.
The calendars have been and continue to be published in various formats - A-3, A-4, A-5 and in a square format. Decisive have always been the sizes and formats of my pictures. The A-5 format allowed for use as either a wall or a desk calendar.
After the „large" formats that were new to me, I would like to draw attention to the small paintings in pocket format. Again and again I received requests for such little gems - something to take along, to carry with you, or simply to pass on, to give as a gift or hang up, because there is always a little place to be found for this format.
